As the summer season starts to wind down the action is heating up for the championship races at Kentucky and Southern Indiana race tracks. ‘We like the way we’ve been running” said Marcus Elliott, the points leader in the Xtreme Oval division at the Sportsdrome in Clarksville. The young driver is a studio guest this week on KENTUCKIANA MOTORSPORTS Presented by Jim Beam®, The Official Sprit of Racing. Also this week in the studio, Adam Neft with Sports Talk 790 AM in Louisville. Neft weighs in on a number of issues including the heavy penalties handed down by NASCAR to the Joe Job Racing Nationwide Series team.

“It is going to be a great night of racing” said KENTUCKIANA MOTORSPORTS Racing Expert, Scott Douglass. He refers to the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt National Touring Series which is Bardstown at Bluegrass Speedway. Gates are opening early for what is expected to be a standing room only crowd Saturday night.

Both Douglass and KMS Show Host Craig Hoffman look at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Race to the Chase standings, including an interview with Carl Edwards about his season to date. The big stars of NASCAR race Saturday night at Bristol, commonly known as Thunderdome or Thunder Valley.
